Everything you said is so true. I took a boot camp class a my gym today and although I ate breakfast I had not worked out in quite a while. I am not overweight, and I have normal blood pressure. But we did go from standing exercises to down on the floor over and over. I got dizzy and my vision blurred. I was having fun and wanted to continue participating, but I felt like I was going to faint, and it was difficult to breathe, so I sat down. Then the instructor told me to walk around, and then got me some gatorade and I felt better. It was very scary! I love the boot camp class but I am definitely going to work my way up to that intensity so I can fully participate next time I go to the class. This has never happened to me before - I have always liked working out, but since I had not in several months, I must not have been ready to dive right back in. I should have known better but I thought I was in better shape than I am!

Hi! Glad I found your blog. I completely agree. Although I have been in the gym a lot, mostly spent it on the elliptical. After a year, no change. Have switched to interval training with weights. I feel different in days, but I know it's going to take some time to really see results. What fitness/weight tracker do your recommend? I've been using training peaks for fitness and perfect diet tracker for weight, but the latter is kind of a pain, I hate taking a lot of time filling out journals.
